Provisioning is the process of setting up and granting access to a user or entity in a software system. This can include creating user accounts, assigning access permissions, configuring user preferences, and provisioning necessary resources for the user. Provisioning often involves defining user roles and assigning appropriate permissions to those roles, in order to ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to resources they need to perform their job functions.
